Offroad cycling in the snowy Yorkshire Dales
We didn't go up to the Dales just to walk - we took our bikes too!

Nice shadows!
On the high roads it was icy.
Soft snow meant easy riding offroad.
Further down the valley the viaduct looked wonderful with the snow blown onto it.
Temperatures were around -5° during the day. Wind chill was the real problem though dropping the temperature much further - well below -10° on the ride back from the viaduct. Chilly fingers and toes.
