Valencia City of Arts and Sciences

The Valencia City of Arts and Sciences can be found at the end of the Turia, a dried up riverbed that runs through the centre of Valencia.  Built in the mid-90's it contains some of the futuristic buildings that I have ever seen.

The Palau de les Arts is the centre for performing arts.

L'Hemisfèric in front of the science museum.

The roof appears to float over the whole building - astonishing.

The buildings resemble some giant mutant beetles!

L'Agora is the concert hall, with el Pont de l'Assut de l'Or.

The science museum is supposed to resemble a whale skeleton.
